The SSF team decided to hand out Christmas presents to Brookside Hospital, who provide services to young people with acute mental health conditions and support to their families.

Sky Sharma Foundation became an integral part of the Redbridge Institute Mental Health Festival at Gaysham Avenue in Ilford. Our aim was to reach out and touch the hearts of the guests who came to be a part of the festival and spread our own message on mental health to "Identify Listen & Act".
Sky Sharma Foundation were first to join the Fairlop Power League to raise awareness of mental health on World Suicide Prevention Day, 10th September 2017. The match was held at the FPL cricket ground, which involved various teams across London competing against each other.

Saturday 25th February 2017 SSF held their first Workshop on Mental Health at the Central Library in Ilford. The host Mrs. Neelam Sharma welcomed the guests and introduced Maria Zatat who is the felicitator of Sky Sharma Foundation. Maria spoke about different types of Mental Health issues suffered by individuals, from Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorder and more, how it affects the brain and recognising the signs early.
On the morning of 24-12-16, Christmas Eve SSF team went out early to hand out breakfast and hot teas to the homeless sleeping rough on the cold streets of Ilford.
Breakfast is the first most important meal of the day, it helps stimulate the mind with positive thoughts.
Sky Sharma Foundation (SSF) held their first fundraising charity dinner and dance event on Friday 25th November at the Tabla restaurant in Ilford.
This event was held to promote the charity, SSF and to raise awareness of Mental Health especially in the Ethnic minority communities. It is a known fact that one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem in a given one year. Depression and Anxiety are the most common mental health problems in the poor and disadvantaged people, who are greatly affected by mental health problems.
Darren Evans contributed his efforts and valuable time to raise funds for SSF and create awareness of Mental Health.

Sky’s (Akash’s) birthday was celebrated by holding a fundraising/awareness event at The University of Roehampton (Sky’s university (2013-2015)).
Sky’s friends, with the help of the head of Roehampton Student Union (RSU) George Cole, collaborated and organised this event with members of Sky’s family to celebrate Sky's birthday together with raising funds for his charity, namely Sky Sharma Foundation –SSF.
In Loving memory of Sky (Akash) a memorial and tree planting ceremony was held at Roehampton University on 26th January 2016 at the Convent Parlour.
Family and friends were joined by the Staff, tutors and students to celebrate Sky's (Akash) life and to plant a tree in the garden outside the drama building where Sky (Akash) loved to study.
SSF held a musical religious event on the 20th February at Nagrecha Hall, Leyton.
On this special day religious hymns were sang by Anju Serohi, Mrs Kapoor, Mrs Saroj,Vikas and other guests who kindly lead the singing and everyone else participated and sang along to the hymns, supported by Mr Ajay Nagla playing the Tabla drums. .
On Friday 26th February, Team SSF handed out clean clothes to the homeless in the Welcome Centre, Ilford, London.
The SSF team were met by the homeless men and women, who utilise the shelter facility for warm food prepared and served by the shelter chef and for general personal cleanliness. The team members spoke with some of the visitors to try and understand the difficulties they face on a day to day basis, and how, due to their circumstances they have become homeless. They all had a sad story to tell.
